The Town of Easton is collaborating with students at Boston University to collect and analyze survey results to advance our efforts as an Age-Friendly Community and to help us gain a better understanding of our community's needs. We invite Easton residents over 50 years of age to participate in this survey. Your feedback is critical! Please complete the survey online at: http://bit.ly/EastonAARP as soon as possible and no later than April 17th. Please note, you may have already received an invitation and survey by mail. If you have already completed the survey (online or by paper copy), please do not take it again.

Your responses to the survey are completely confidential. Only summary data from all participants will be included in the final report. You will be able to find the report on the town's website at a later date. Participation in this study is voluntary but your participation is greatly appreciated. Should you have any questions regarding the survey, please feel free to email or call Kristin Kennedy, Director of Health and Community Services, at (508) 230-0690 or kkennedy at easton.ma.us.

The AARP Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities encourages communities to prepare for the rapid aging of the U.S. population by paying increased attention to eight domains of community life: housing, transportation, social participation, respect and social inclusion, civic participation and employment, communication and information, community support and health services, and outdoor space and building, with the ultimate goal of the program being that Easton is better equipped to be a community in which people participate in activities, are connected to their neighbors, remain healthy and active, and feel they belong- no matter their age.
