Five Corners Sewer Construction Project: Phase II
Phase II of the Five Corners Sewer Project includes installation of a sanitary sewer collection system from Roberts Drive along Route 106 down Foundry Street to the Five Corners area and will result in one-way traffic along Route 106 during most of the construction. The greatest amount of traffic is anticipated to occur during morning commuting hours. Fiscal Year 2020 Budget for the Town of Easton and Easton Public Schools
The Town Administrator's Balanced Budget is available in a comprehensive document that contains both the operating and capital budgets for Fiscal Year 2020. Town of Easton Email

National Grid Pole Replacement
National Grid has started replacing poles and equipment along Center Street from Depot Street to Main Street. The project is expected to take between 4 and 6 weeks. Please be patient with the construction in this area for the foreseeable future.
Waste Management Guide

The Public Health Nurse will be available for Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar screening for Easton Residents (on a walk in basis, no appointment needed) according to the following schedule:

June 24: Free Bulky Item Week - Waste Management Customers
The week of June 24, 2019 will be the next "FREE BULK ITEM" pickup week for Waste Management customers. If you are in our Waste Management program, you can put one (1) large item curbside on your regular trash day to be picked up at no charge to you. No need to call the office, just have your item out at 7:00AM. You can find the list of acceptable items on the Town's website. Any questions call the DPW @ 508-230-0800.
Now through September 30:  Phase II Water Restrictions in Place in Easton
Mandatory outside water restrictions are in place from May 1st to September 30th. This action is necessary to be in compliance with the Town's Water Management Act Permit. For more information on the web, please go to water restrictions<http://www.easton.ma.us/departments/dpw/water_division/water_restriction.php>. Phase II restricts water on an even/odd basis as follows:
*      Customers at even-numbered addresses will be restricted to allow lawn watering only on Monday and Thursday between the hours of 5:00 AM-8:00 AM and 6:00 PM-9:00 PM
*      Customers at odd-numbered addresses will be restricted to allow lawn watering only on Tuesday and Friday between the hours of 5:00 AM-8:00 AM and 6:00 PM-9:00 PM
Handheld hoses will be allowed anytime.
Now through October 11: Department of Public Works Summer Hours
Beginning Tuesday, April 16, 2019 - October 11, 2019 the DPW summer office hours are as follows:
DPW: (Monday - Thursday) 7:00AM-3:30PM and (Fridays) 7:00AM-10:00AM
Building & Grounds: (Monday - Thursday) 6:00AM-3:00PM and (Fridays) 6:00AM-10:00AM
Highway Division: (Monday - Thursday) 6:30AM-3:30PM and (Fridays) 6:30AM-10:30AM
Now through End of August: Fire Station #2 at 87 Depot Street - Under Construction - Closed
Fire Station #2 on Depot Street will be closed from May 6 through the end of August while construction happens, to add an addition and renovate the existing station. Fire Personnel and apparatus will be housed during the period of construction at Fire Station #3; on Bay road. Please remember to call 911 immediately in the event of an emergency.

Easton Recreation Full Day Summer Program - Sessions Are Still Open - Register Now!
This program is for children ages 6-13 (14-15 for the Workreation Program). The program is held at the Easton Middle School. The new extended hours are 8:30am-4:00pm. There are 6 one-week sessions starting July 8th running through August 16th that include fun filled activities throughout the day. Each session includes one field trip, a day of swimming, sports, arts and crafts and much more. Register now for your child to take part in some summer fun! June 21 through June 23: Artist Call - Legacy Adult Art Show - Theme:  "Through the Eyes of the Artist"
Located at Oakes Ames Memorial Hall. The Legacy Adult Art Show (18 and over). A Different Show: Artists will choose a piece (open medium) based on what they consider either their best work; most creative; most emotionally charged, etc. That piece will be displayed. Work will then be juried for winners by Beth McLaughlin, Chief Curator, and Fuller Craft Museum. Entries will be received digitally. June 22: Twilight in the Garden - Queset Garden
You are cordially invited to attend Twilight in the Garden, an enchanted event to benefit the Ames Free Library. Join us as we usher in summer in the beautiful Queset Garden, where you will be surrounded by lanterns and lights as you stroll the grounds enjoying catered hors d'oeuvres; live jazz; and wine, beer, and cocktails (cash bar). Twilight in the Garden will be held on Saturday, June 22, rain or shine, from 7-10 PM. Sunday, June 23rd from Noon-5 PM, experience the Legacy Festival which is free and open to the public, rain or shine. The Legacy features canoeing, interactive makers art programs for all ages, balloon twister, photo booth, CERT exhibit, live music all day in the tent, drumming circle children's interactive entertainer, and many surprises. June 26: Gambling Photovoice Exhibition

On Wednesday, June 26, 2019, the community will come together to view an exhibition of photography, referred to as Photovoice, that raises awareness about underage gambling created by students from Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School. The project was funded by the Department of Public Health's Office of Problem Gambling Services and facilitated by High Point Prevention Services. The drop-in exhibition will be on display from 4:30-6PM at Oakes Ames Memorial Hall located at 3 Barrows Street in North Easton, MA. Community members from across the region are encouraged to attend and engage with the students, all while enjoying light refreshments and learning about the many facets of gambling that impact our society. June 26: STEAM Exploration - Rocket to the Moon!
