LOCAL GOVERNMENT NEWS AND NOTICES
NOTICE TO RESIDENTS - Highland Street, Central Street, and Purchase Street Paving Project
As part of the Town of Easton’s ongoing pavement management program, the resurfacing of Highland Street is scheduled to begin Monday June 10th. Work is expected to take between 2 and 3 days. Crews will then proceed to Central Street (1 to 2 days), and then Purchase Street (2 to 3 days). Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes during this time. Police Details will be on scene to assist and direct traffic through and around the work zones.
The work involves the installation of an ultrathin bonded asphalt overlay known as Nova Chip. The construction of the total project is estimated to take approximately 5 to 8 days and is subject to delays from weather. Due to the thin nature of the material, traffic will be restored to the paved areas quickly.
Thank you for your patience as we make improvements to the Town of Easton’s roadways. If you have any questions, please contact the Department of Public Works at (508) 230-0800 or dfield at easton.ma.us<mailto:dfield at easton.ma.us>.

To stay connected during construction, please visit www.fivecornerssewer.com<http://www.fivecornerssewer.com> for project information and to sign up for construction updates and traffic alerts.
