pavement management program, the resurfacing of portions of the streets listed above is scheduled to begin Wednesday May 18th. Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes during this time. Police Details will be on scene to assist and direct

the first phase of work will involve the milling of the existing roadway surface. Following the milling, the DPW will begin repairing sections of sidewalks and curbing as needed on each road. The resurfacing work involves the installation of two separate
roadway treatments. The installation of the first treatment will follow later this spring/summer. This first treatment is a stress absorbing interlayer known as “rubber chip seal.” This treatment involves the installation of a layer of stone chips embedded
in asphalt. This will not be the final surface of the road. A second treatment, which will follow shortly after the first treatment, will be a conventional warm mix asphalt overlay.<o:p></o:p></span></span></span></span></span></p>
