<p class="MsoNormal">Final paving of the Queset Sewer Project will begin on Monday August 19<sup>th</sup> and will continue for approximately 4 weeks until completed. The work includes excavation of the temporary trench pavement and installation of permanent
trench paving along with the milling and overlay of all impacted areas.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) and the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) have announced that aerial spraying for mosquitoes will take place in specific areas of southeastern Massachusetts, including
portions of Easton, beginning tonight, Thursday, August 8, 2019, due to the high risk for the Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) virus. We are encouraging residents to visit

<p class="MsoNormal">At this time the Queset Sewer District construction is substantially complete and ready for connections. Property owners in the Queset Sewer District that are part of the sewer project that would like to connect should contact a Licensed
Drain Layer or contact a contractor who is eligible to become licensed to begin the process of connecting to sewer. The cost to connect to the sewer lines installed by the Town is the responsibility of the property owner. We recommend getting as many quotes
as possible for the work and to be clear on what is or is not included in the scope of work (i.e. restoration of lawns, driveways, walkways, removal of trees, internal plumbing changes, abandonment of septic or cesspool, pumping of the old system, cost of
permits, etc.). Only Licensed Drain Layers (or those applying to be licensed) may apply for a sewer permit. The Town of Easton will license contractors that have experience installing municipal sanitary sewer, possess the required insurance, and have posted

will be conducting a confidential phone survey of residents in Bristol County. The CDC has asked the Town of Easton to share this information so that residents are aware this is taking place, and should you receive a phone call and are willing to participate,

<p class="MsoNormal">The Easton Council On Aging is happy to bring you a Mini-Safety Resource Fair at Frothingham Hall (15 Barrows Street North Easton, MA) on Friday, August 23 from 12:30-2:30pm. Some of the emergency response system companies in attendance
include Phillips Lifeline, Alert Sentry, and Be Safe at Home. The Sherriff’s Department will be here as well. This fair will also double as an ice cream social! Serving up your ice cream will be Easton’s finest: Police, Fire and Paramedics! In addition to
